Hypnotherapy

So What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a technique that can be used to aid the process of therapy. Some people fear hypnosis, having only encountered stage hypnosis. Hypnotherapy does not involve stage techniques. In fact, you cannot be hypnotised unless you are a willing participant. Therefore, it is essential that you build up a good rapport with your therapist. You cannot be forced into a hypnotic state

If you choose Hypnotherapy to free yourself from problems or to advance your potential it is imperative that you choose someone who is qualified and registered with an appropriate body. You must also feel comfortable with the therapist.. But remember, your 'cure' is a two way process and it is your mind that is enacting that cure. The therapist is only guiding you through.

Hypnosis used in therapy works by allowing you access to your unconscious mind. This is the greater part of your mind, which contains all your emotions, attitudes, habits and beliefs. Your conscious mind is the logical part that runs your daily life, the one-tenth that you are aware of!

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness where you can access a part of your mind that is usually hidden from you.
You are in control throughout the entire process.
Private and confidential treatment is provided.
Numerous conditions can be helped by the use of hypnosis.
One visit can be enough to 'cure' many behavioural problems.
Self-hypnosis is easily learned and can help you to help yourself.
Irritable bowel syndrome can be controlled by hypnosis.
Self-confidence can be increased with this simple technique.

Hypnosis can aid many Conditions

Smoking

Hypnosis strengthens your will.

Various conditions can be caused or exacerbated by the habit of smoking. These include emphysema, asthma, bronchitis, coughs and colds, cancer and impotence. It is worth considering giving up the habit!

Phobias

Enjoy the rest of your life once you lose that fear.

A phobia is simply a fear that has gotten out of proportion. Such a fear may prevent you from leaving the house (agorophobia), may force you to wash your hands hundreds of times a day (obsessive compulsive disorder) or make you check under the bed before going to sleep to check for any spiders (arachnophobia). Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy can help your recovery.

Anxiety

Avoid problems learn how to control them.

We all experience a certain amount of anxiety when things go wrong, but sometimes the level is unusual, such as the case of panic attack. Anyone who has suffered such attacks will know how scared they felt at the time, how embarassed they were by the ridiculousness of their own response, which they could not control. I can help you with such problems.

Relaxation

Need to learn how to relax?

It seems so obvious doesn't it? But many people just don't know how to relax. One session will teach you how to relax, thus allowing you to prevent the conditions that can result from that inability.

Exam Stress

Aid successes by learning a simple technique.

Stress just before those important exams can cause a blocking of some of the information you have learned. I can teach you self-hypnosis, which you can use whenever you need to calm yourself down.

Tiredness

Depression? Release those endorphins.

Are you just tired or are you suffering from depression? This condition is more common than people generally realise. Hypnosis can aid your cure in conjunction with medical treatment.

Insomnia

Another sleepless night? End it now.

Do you fall into bed at night hoping that maybe, tonight you will get a good night's sleep? Hypnosis can help you to reverse this habit and wake up feeling refreshed in the morning, ready for a new day.

Motivation

Move towards that dream with hypnotherapy.

Some people feel that they work hard, but are getting nowhere! Perhaps you lack motivation, or just need your confidence level raised. Hypnosis can help.

Enuresis

Solve that bedwetting problem with hypnosis.

Although there can be medical causes, often bedwetting is simply a habit that has been learned, and therefore, can be unlearned. Children can be wonderful clients in hypnosis, with their vivid imaginations.

Asthma

On learning self-hypnosis you can control attacks.

Hypnosis will not cure asthma but it can help you to reduce any panic that may accompany and worsen an attack. Learn self-hypnosis and increase your independence.

and many others...

No need to suffer those symptoms any longer!

Hypnosis can aid many conditions including helping reduce the symptoms of IBS, increase your self-esteem, and many more - all you need to do is ask!

Past Life Regression

We offer this as a stand alone session for interested individuals.

Reincarnation is the belief that a persons awareness, or soul, survives death and returns to be born again into a new physical body with renewed opportunity to progress and grow in knowledge and wisdom.  Part of this belief is that an individual can experience life as male and female, of different race, religion, or social class. The combined experience of many lifetimes encompasses the whole gamut of good and evil.

More important than the individual experiences are the motivations behind them and how we learn and grow from those experiences.  It is believed that we are the sum total of our past experiences; we have traits, talents, habits and attitudes that have developed in past lifetimes.

Past Life Regression explores these past experiences.
